As of the 2010 census, the township had a total population of 484, UP 21% since 2000 and number of households estimate: 210, UP 24%.
The 2000 census reported a population of 400 and 169 households.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 50.1 km² (19.4 mi²). 20.6 km² (8.0 mi²) of it is land and 29.5 km² (11.4 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 58.88% water.

The racial makeup of the township is 99.50% White, 0.25% African American, 0.25% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.75% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 169 households out of which 24.3% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 66.9% are married couples living together, 1.8% have a female householder with no husband present, and 26.6% are non-families. 23.1% of all households are made up of individuals and 13.0% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older.
